Replicating Web Sites Lets look at the most common type of networking on the internet. You join a site that offers you a free web site or "replicating web page". This page promotes their product and your responsible for getting your page advertised so you can get commisions on refferals and/or sales. You have the typical upline and downline and many of them want up front money such as SFI. We had to tell SFI not to email us with any more "Joe Shmo just enrolled so click here to get your comission". You click there and you are told to send money to become qualified to get those comissions. What are the problems with this? Well, being pretty familiar with the computer ourselves we still find it to be very involved and can see many people becoming frustrated with it. It is harder to promote a replicating web page simply due to the fact you have no control over the meta tags or any of the scripts run on the page. So, unless you have many friends to try to sell on this (which by the way can ruin friendships) your limited to being a spammer or putting ads on the unlimited bulletin boards littered with hundreds of other ads like yours. Sure you can submit your address to all the search engines but so is everyone else. After some investigation we have found this site FAAnet . It seems they give you a little more control over their replicating web page. SEARCH ENGINES Another interesting thing is the different listings from search engine to search engine. Here is a sample of a search for Money Makers AOL Search Notice not one engine has the same listing. Same search phrase. Completely different listings. It shows me how each engine has different requirements in their indexing THE TYPICAL NETWORKING SCAM Now, we have also noticed those sites that offer something but doesn't quite tell you what it is. http://www.oyas.com/ is one of those that claims you can make money from home but you have to contact them with your phone number before you can find out exactly what it is. we ask ourselves why? We recieved an email from OYAS saying they will contact us with info. I don't know about you but to us it stinks already. Many networking sites are simple. You send in money to be "UPGRADED", then promote your site to get people to do the same. Does it work? Well, we all know that it doesn't in the long run. Unless your one of the first in the pyramid. Personally we feel that network scams such as these are to be avoided. We do believe in investigating them yourselves though. Don't rely soley on our findings. That is why we have all the links here.
As of 8/7/01 We have been scouring the web for money making opportunities and there isn't a shortage of them. The only problem is, are any of them working. We have devoted a page for any businesses that have had complaints or are simply known scams. We also provided you with all the Business opportunities we have found that offer a solid product and/or offer an affiliate program to promote that product. Now as of 8/14/01 we have enrolled in many many programs and have not found any free ways to go. The best they offer is to help motivate you with building your downline. Now we haven't gone so far as to really spend time with these typical MLM type web sites. If you have had any experiences with them and would like to share it with us please contact us .
