Many legitimate networking businesses are going to ask for some amount of money and that doesn't mean they are scams. 

However, you should always follow up on their backgrounds. Are they members of the Better Business Bureau? 

If not, make sure there has been no bad reports about them. 

I have always thought of  SCAMWAY (written this way due to that company bullying web-masters with lawsuits) as being pretty upfront but read this so always be careful and know that there is no easy way to make millions.

To make money , there is a good chance your going to have to work! Now working isn't a bad thing. It's just what kind of work is involved. There is different types of "work" for different types of businesses.

Many are going to require you to promote your/their business in some way. 

Now there are thousands of books just on "how to promote your business online". So we won't get into depth on that area but there are some basic common sense ways to start with that, which we will deal with later. 

You have to ask yourself, do you want to be a direct salesman or an internet marketer or both. Did you want to do tasks such as assembly, transcriptions or stuffing of envelopes. Many of these types of online/mail order businesses are scams so you have to know what is realistic.Our decision later on what we will pursue here.

We all know that in order to sell, we need something to sell. 

Unlike most sites on making money on the internet, We are not going to try to sell anything here other then the links we put here are sponsors that claim to pay for click throughs so you will be helping us investigate by following them. 

This site is merely a recording of our findings on the possibility of making money and the realities. So, most MLM's use " making money" as their product and devise many different ways to sell that product. 

Whether it is a newsletter packed with tips and tricks, books on the best ways to market your newsletters, books or web sites, software claiming to get your business booming. If you can think of it it has been tried.

We have decided to go towards developing a site that gains in traffic to the point that we can then sell "advertising". This way takes more time to develop but has a greater possibility and is easier to do with a limited amount of time and computer knowledge and upfront money.
